We hear this question a lot: What’s the best age to get braces or Invisalign treatment? Well, we think the best time is when you’re ready, because the benefits of orthodontic treatment are ageless.
Children can have their initial orthodontic evaluation at Great River around age seven, to detect any issues that could require early treatment. More typically, treatment occurs during the teen years, between 12 and 16 years of age, when most permanent teeth are present. Adults, too, are getting orthodontic treatment for a variety of health and aesthetic reasons. Our modern braces and Invisalign treatments work with the needs of all ages and lifestyles.
